still waiting

now 41 weeks out of 42 weeks.. this 'due date' is so misleading, I don't think it's fair to give someone a date when you also tell them that anytime between 37 and 42 weeks is term.. I almost got teary about the frustration today, but I think I'm just tired, and really there is nothing wrong with these quiet days at home.. the last I'll have.. so hard to imagine what the baby will be like, what I will feel/be like as a mother, what Martin will feel/be as a father.. here we are on the threshold of this whole new world, and we are like clueless tourists not sure when our boat will arrive in the unknown city..
